Global Filter Parameters:
At 5 AM CT the counts for each LiveScan alert are reset. The moving averages for the daily closing price volume (5-day and 30-day), high and low prices (3-day, 5-day, 60-day), and average volume (20-day, 50-day and 200-day) are recalculated for Nasdaq, New York Stock Exchange and American Stock Exchange issues.
The moving averages are calculated for the number of days specified. If the stock has not traded recently it will not be included in the calculations. If there are not enough day bars to complete the moving average calculation, the average will be set to 0 for that period and the stock will not be evaluated for that alert.
Currently NexTrend has set the minimum average 30-day volume for a stock to be evaluated for an alert at 20,000 shares. More customizable filters can be set in the NexTrend LiveScan software in the properties dialog box for any LiveScan. |
