What is required to use NexTrend?
|
If you have access to the Internet and any Pentium PC with Windows 2000, XP or Vista you have what it takes to use NexTrend. Market information is delivered from NexTrend's data center to subscribers over high-speed Internet and private Frame Relay connections. Upon completion of the subscription process, you will download and install the program. The simple installation process takes only a few minutes.

1.0 GB RAM Memory 50MB available hard disk space
1024x768 (or better) high resolution 16-bit color video
Sound Card (optional)

Are there any geographical limitations?
|
The NexTrend software and associated user name and password can be used anywhere in the world.

Where is all the data stored?
|
All data is stored at our central data site and backed up daily. In addition all data is stored and backed up at an alternative location and is available to you 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
Exchange data is consolidated and delivered from our state-of-the art secure facility with direct internet feeds from three tier 1 carriers.

How big is the download file?
|
The NexTrend software download is approximately 6 MB and takes about 2 minutes to download on an average DSL connection.

What type of support is available?
|
Training videos are available on our web site. They are simple to understand, easy to use and very comprehensive. You can get up and running without reviewing these videos but there is a lot of great information in these videos and we recommend that all users take a few minutes to review the topics of interest.
The NexTrend software also contains comprehensive context-sensitive Help that will answer almost any question.
In addition e mail and telephone support is available, however response is based upon volume and questions will be responded to as quickly as possible.

Can I use NexTrend on more than one computer (multiple computers)?
|
You can use NexTrend on as many computers as you would like. However, if you are logged in on one computer and log in on another computer with the same registration key and password NexTrend will log the first user off. In other words one user per registration Key and password can log in at a time.
It is very simple to put the software on a different machine. Go to NexTrend Downloads and download the software to your other machine. Then use the Registration Key and Password that was originally sent to you when you signed up.

How is client information protected?

How do I change my e mail address and web access password?
|
You can change your e mail address and web access password from our web site. Click on My Account and under Personal Information you will see the available links.
*Important note: Your NexTrend password and your web access password are completely independent of each other. In other words your NexTrend password will not log you into our web site and your web site password will not log you into the NexTrend software.

Special discounts, coupons and promotions?
|
From time to time we may offer Special discounts, coupons or promotions. These special offers can be used one time only per subscriber as identified by name, address, e-mail address, telephone number, or credit card number.
If there is a Monthly Special at the time of sign up, it will only be used with a Monthly Subscription. The yearly specials are already discounted (2) two months for one year subscriptions and (6) six months for two year subscriptions. One and two year subscriptions also comes with a free Electronic Trading TNT book valued between $100 and $150 depending on the book.

What types of charges are there?
|
Once a product is added to your cart you will see what the charges are (if any). Sales tax may be applicable (Texas residents only).

Is there a discount for an annual subscription?
|
Yes, we offer annual subscription discounts! One year subscribers receive savings equivalent to 2 months of free service and two year subscribers receive savings equivalent to 6 months of free service. Both one and two year subscribers also receive a FREE copy of Electronic Trading TNT I, II, III or IV).
*The "Electronic Trading TNT" books sell for between $100 and $150 per book and is yours FREE with a one or two year subscription to NexTrend. Book version depends on availability.

What type of payments do you accept?
|
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover credit cards and PayPal.
We know how important it is to protect confidential information so on our web site we provide the highest level of Internet Security. All transactions are secured using 128 bit industry standard SSL encryption to protect your confidential information.
We also accept PayPal transactions and are PayPal Verified (Due to PayPal policy you must be logged into your PayPal account to view the ATC Analytics verified information). If you choose this payment option at checkout you will be taken to the PayPal website to confirm your account details and complete the transaction.
It is important to note that if you use PayPal we will not forward the NexTrend registration key to you until we receive notification back from PayPal that the transaction has been completed. In most cases this takes less than a few minutes. However if PayPal cannot verify funds right away then you will have to wait until we receive notification that the funds have been accepted.
If you sign up using Pay Pal and decide to cancel your account you must cancel your account through Pay Pal as well as sending ATC Analytics a cancel notification as explained below under "How do I cancel my account". If you do not cancel your subscription to NexTrend via e mail as well as through your Pay Pal account you will continue to be billed.

The subscriber's credit card is charged monthly for the NexTrend Monthly Subscription and sales tax (Texas residents only).
When you sign up for a 1 or 2 year Subscription your credit card will be charged the full amount for the time period of your Subscription at the completion of the sign up process. Sales tax (Texas residents only).
We do not prorate subscriptions. Once the month, 1 or 2 year subscription is paid for your subscription is available to you for an entire month or the entire 1 or 2 years. That goes for cancellations as well. We do not prorate cancellations.

How do I update my credit card?
|
You can update your credit card information on our web site. Click on My Account and under Payment Setting you will see the edit credit card link.
If you paid for your subscription with PayPal then you must log into your PayPal account and update your credit card information in your PayPal account.
You must have a valid credit card in order to receive your monthly subscription. If your credit card is going to expire please update the information for uninterrupted service.

What happens at the end of the year when I sign up for the 1 or 2 Year Subscription?
|
At the end of your subscription your service will default to a monthly subscription. If at any time after the first year (1 year subscription) or second year (2 year subscription) you decide to cancel your subscription then please let us know and we will cancel your service at the end of the current month that you have paid for.

How do I cancel my account?
|
If you want to cancel your NexTrend Subscription then please follow these instructions:
It is very important that you cancel your account via the method explained below to ensure proper account closure.
All notice of cancellation must be in writing (e-mail or fax) and received by us at least 5 business days before the last day of the month to avoid charges for the next month.
Closing an account cannot be done by simply canceling or not renewing your credit card. ATC Analytics will continue to treat this as an open account and send it through our billing cycle. The end result is a past due account that will incur additional fees. Please follow the below procedure to properly cancel an account.
Cancellations are effective at 11:59 p.m. Central Time on the last day of the month.
Monthly Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time. 1 or 2 year subscriptions can also be canceled at any time however; under no conditions are any Subscriptions subject to prorate, discount or refund in whole or in part at cancellation or termination.
How to cancel:

You will receive a return e mail cancel response confirmation from us.
If you do not receive a return e mail cancel response confirmation from us then for some reason (Usually SPAM capture) we did not receive your e mail requesting cancellation.
In the rare case that you do not receive a return e mail response then please Fax your cancellation notice to us at 866-825-7661. Please put the text "Cancel my account" on the first page. Again, you should receive a return e mail confirmation response from us.
If in the rarest of cases if both these methods do not work then please call us at 972-661-1283 x3 and let the billing department know that you want to cancel your NexTrend subscription.
If you sign up using Pay Pal in addition to the above cancel steps you must also cancel your subscription through Pay Pal or you will continue to be billed.
